Well known as a "hot" keyboard player with great  improvisational skills, Joe Andes came to Abilene by way of national recording artists Dakota in January of 1983.

Called "Professor" by his bandmates as a tribute to his genius in chord structure, Joe is a talented singer, songwriter and arranger, Joe also plays guitar when the song calls for it. His laid-back stage demeanor belies the high-energy keyboard work Joe injects into Abilene performances to give them the drive and excitement fans have come to know and expect.
